What will you think of this advertisement when you first saw? Just like me, the thought of having your car cleaned at RM10 in a shopping complex is a good bargain… and it is NOT!.
The ads will only guide you to the premise. When you reach there, first question they will popped to you is “Are you a member sir?”. “No I am not.” “Well sir, if not then you will have to pay RM35 to get your car washed and vacuum.” He replied. “Well, your ads say its start from RM10?” I asked. “You need to be a member sir to get that special price” he answered.
Well well well..fair enough. I quickly drive away.
I am quite frustrated with this kind of ads. Being the one which everyday involve in creating advertisement for companies in promoting their good and services, I always remind my clients not to mislead their customers or giving the a wrong message.
Looking back at the ads, it says from RM10, so I expected to get any service as low as RM10 regardless of what services they offer for that price. Unless they put the * (asterisk symbol) with terms and conditions apply, then I would understand.
I wonder in a day, how many misleading ads we have seen..ENTAHLAH..I don’t know.
